My trainer suggested that I start having some fruit juice post workout to provide my muscles with the sugars they need to recover after a session.

I can’t say I really understand all the science but I trust Jason implicitly and made a juice as follows:

1/2 fresh Pineapple (skin on, washed)
2 crisp juicy Apples (washed)
Large handful of fresh Mint.
Pinch of sea Salt

Method:
Juice the mint, followed by the pineapple and apples.

Remove any foam. Serve over ice with a pinch of salt.

Also very refreshing in this hot spell we are having.
